ABOUT US
The “Help To Ukraine” Association was created to provide support and humanitarian aid to Ukraine and the Ukrainian community in Portugal.
Our primary mission is to combat some of the main difficulties that the Ukrainian people are currently experiencing, such as the lack of food, health and hygiene goods, baby supplies and support equipment.
Since the end of 2022, we have been dealing with humanitarian fees for energy and heating equipment for Ukrainians.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE
WAREHOUSE ASSISTANCE
From February 26 to October 2022, our international team of volunteers (Ukrainian, Russian and Portuguese) organized the collection of food, medicine, clothing and hygiene products, separated and packed them in a warehouse located in Paço de Arcos and sent all these humanitarian supplies by land and air to Ukraine. Also we helped more than three hundred refugees with food, clothing, furniture and organizing their lives in our country.
The delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine (by truck and plane) was carried out together with our partner, the Norwegian-Ukrainian foundation “Open Hearts”, the airline TAP Air Portugal and with private truck drivers and volunteer drivers. In eight months, we managed to accomplish more than 10 missions and send more than 200 tons of humanitarian cargo.
DELIVERY OF GOODS
Till the end of 2022 we collected and distributed humanitarian supplies at the central warehouse in Paço de Arcos. We accepted donations both at the central warehouse and at five collection points in Almada, Setúbal, Amadora, Montijo and Caldas da Rainha.

WARMING UP FOR UKRAINE
Since October 2022, we have been raising funds for Ukraine by showing a charity play “Letters for Peace”. Since January 2023, we have been collecting donations for the purchase of generators and other heating equipment for Ukrainian families in partnership with the volunteer association “WFU.world” (Poland)
